Mixed-Use Rehab Revitalizes Area

Bank Street Advisors’ commitment to redeveloping Richmond brings new shopping and office space to the heart of Richmond’s most dynamic neighborhood. Opened in September 2016, 315 West Broad Street is a beautiful four-story 14,000 square foot mixed use building, featuring 3,000 s.f. of retail with the balance being office. Highlights include:

  • Upscale Retail. Ledbury, a nationally renown, high end men’s clothier, anchors the development. In addition to housing Ledbury’s flagship showroom, 315 West Broad houses the retailer’s corporate headquarters and bespoke workshop.
  • Historic Renovation. The original building, a former store built in the early 1900s, has been owned by the Ukrop family since 1997. After decades of decline, this pioneering development is leading the way in the transformation of this formerly vibrant urban corridor.
  • Neighborhood Transformation. 315 West Broad is continuing to transform the 300 West Broad Street block of Richmond’s Arts and Cultural District, making this once more a popular destination.

The building has brought over 50 new jobs to Broad Street. The retailer and history behind the location, coupled with the tasteful design and style of the building, is the promising beginning to the transformation of Broad Street into an atelier destination of choice. And once again, Bank Street Advisors is leading the way in both profitable development and urban renewal.
